Becky Wolsk is a write-at-home mother and quilter in Washington, DC.

I've written two novels, Food and Worry and Six Words, which are available in paperback and Kindle editions. Both are romantic comedies, cautionary tales, and beach reads for the smart set. Click here for the blurbs.

I've also written and illustrated The Text Isle Patchwork CookbookThe paperback edition is most easily purchased through Amazon.com, and the free ebook (PDF format) is here on my site

My short pieces have appeared in Cookie, Flashquake (where my story was an editor’s pick), Literary Mama, Work-in-Progress, secondladies.com, What If?, Glass Quarterly, Brain Child, Imperfect Parent, Eighteenth-Century Fiction, and in arts and humanities databases. I am a graduate of Concord Academy, Brown University, and the Masters in English program at the University of Pennsylvania.

I've moonlighted as a quilter, blending words, pictures, and fabric into "patchbooks," where each page doubles as a patchwork quilt. I've also made quilts to donate to Project Linus (www.projectlinus.org) and school auctions.
